Have you ever heard anyone talk about DIARRHEA on the radio?

January 5, 2014 By Niki Strealy

For years, I have lamented how no one ever says the word DIARRHEA on the radio or tv. If millions of people suffer from chronic diarrhea, don’t you think it should be talked about? Thankfully, one of my dietitian colleagues agreed. I was offered an opportunity to talk about diarrhea for a half-hour on the radio (yay!). The interview aired last week and can be found here.

Thank you to Melinda Hemmelgarn, MS, RD and KOPN Food Sleuth Radio for allowing me to bring a topic out of the bathroom and onto the radio.

One day, it will be socially acceptable to talk about diarrhea on tv too. I hope they choose me when that day comes!
