Ironic Diarrhea

October 17, 2013 By Niki Strealy

It’s ironic… I’m about to leave for the national dietitian’s conference to market my book.  And I had bad diarrhea today. You know what I’m talking about. The kind where you think to yourself:

“Can I make it home in time?”

“Or should I turn into the nearest Target (or Starbucks or Walmart…)?”

“If a cop pulls me over for speeding I’ll show him what a real *accident* looks like.”

“What in the world did I eat this morning to cause this?”

“I hope I get this under control before I leave on my business trip.”

I didn’t eat or do anything out of the ordinary today. The reality is, sometimes diarrhea just happens. For no reason. The good news– I know I CAN get it under control and what/how to eat over the next few days.
